In the name of Allah The Most Beneficent, The Most Merciful PREAMBLE :   Alhamdulillah, being a humble student of knowledge, while going through the noble traditions of our beloved Prophet Muhammad ( s.a.w.s ), I learnt that on 18 th Zulhajja (12 th month of Islamic calendar) in 10 th H ijri / 632 CE (while returning from Mecca to Medina , a f ter performing the Farewell Hajj), he ( s.a.w.s .) was summoned by Allah (S.W.T.) in the scorching heat of desert in a place called “ Khum ” ( with in an oasis called “Ghadeer”, three miles apart from Johfa ) to stop and deliver a Special message!   Ther e, our beloved Prophet ( s.a.w.s ) delivered the longest and most comprehensive sermon of his life in the presence of over 120,000 companions .
